Creative Industry Small Businesses: Apply for the Seattle Small Business Stabilization Fund by November 30
The City of Seattle is prioritizing creative industry small businesses and workers by allocating 10% of the current $4 million Small Business Stabilization Fund grants to creative industry small businesses. Small Business Stabilization Fund grants are provided by the Office of Economic Development, where webinars, direct business assistance, and in-language assistance are available to small business owners. Governor’s Office Releases New COVID-19 Guidelines Allowing Film Production to Continue
On November 15 the Governor’s office released new guidelines in an effort to curb the surge of COVID-19 cases in Washington state. These new guidelines do not impact existing film production guidelines or permitting. For more information visit the OFM Blog. To apply for a Master Film Permit visit the application portal.

City of Seattle and Community Partners Launch ‘Shop Your Block’ Holiday Campaign to Support Small Businesses
OED launched the new Shop Your Block retail map as part of the larger public campaign—Shop Your Block—that aims to support small businesses throughout the holiday season. Shop Your Block connects consumers to local small retail businesses throughout Seattle using the new retail map and online neighborhood marketplaces. Shop Your Block celebrates Seattle’s unique character and encourages the public to support local retailers in their neighborhood —in person or online— this holiday shopping season. Submit Your Music to PlayBack!
Seattle Public Library is seeking submissions for their free music collection, PlayBack. Playback contains 250 albums by Seattle area artists including; SassyBlack, Tomo Nakayama, BEARAXE, The Black Tones, Lori Goldston, Whitney Monge, NAVVI and many more!
The public can download or stream these albums for free, and selected artists receive $200 and lots of library love.

Iconic Seattle music venue, The Crocodile, is moving with big plans for the future
After nearly 30 years, one of the city’s most storied clubs is moving to a new location in Belltown. The Crocodile is taking over the former El Gaucho building and plans to create a multivenue entertainment complex that will expand the Croc’s footprint on the local concert landscape.
